We got to "meet" you for the first time today! The moment I saw your tiny, single (thank you, Lord!), little 1.8 inch body on the screen everything became real and surreal at the same time. You were sitting nice and warm inside me doing a little wiggle dance, almost as if waving to your Mama and Papa with your whole body. The nurse told us everything was looking great and healthy. You're only a little bigger than an olive and I was already beaming with pride.
The truly magical moment happened when she let us hear your heartbeat. Nothing in the world could have prepared me for the wonder and amazement at that moment. Of course I immediately started tearing up and the awe on your Papa's face couldn't have been captured with a camera.
The nurse told me that my uterus is actually tipped backward which is perfectly normal. The only time it could ever cause a problem is in trying to get pregnant. Yet we still managed to conceive you when we weren't trying. Created perfectly and especially for us in God's perfect timing. Amazing.

That little line goes from your bottom(where it says CRL) down to the top of your head. Your itty bity little feet are so cute.
So awesome! I love that you are writing letters to him/her. I know another friend that did that on her blog! So fun! I can't wait for my turn! ;)
